Benchmark represents the code of practice for the installation, commissioning and servicing of gas central heating. The person completing the Benchmark documents must be classified as "competent" and must leave the documents with the householder.

On 1st April 2005 new regulations concerning central heating installations came into force. To help you comply with these new regulations we have printed the Benchmark details in the back of the installation manuals along with a simple process map for installer notification.
